The houseboat was excellent and our captain was very hospitable. The food was amazing and authentic Kerala cuisine. The boat ride among the backwaters was peaceful and serene. Having AC in the bedroom was a plus and helped with a peaceful night's sleep. The boat, bedroom, and bathrooms were clean and had hot water. The boat was docked in a village overnight, allowing us to explore during sunrise and sunset. The views were amazing. Do not miss this experience if you love fish and Kerala food.
Felt well taken care of, no complaints at all.

The room at Kalappura Houseboats & Tours was a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. The air conditioning was a blessing, keeping the room cool and comfortable. The flat-screen TV with cable channels provided entertainment, and the private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries added convenience. The outdoor dining area was a lovely spot to enjoy a meal in the fresh air.
Personally, I didn't love the soundproofing in the suite. Others might still find it enjoyable though.

I chose this hotel for attending a session and was impressed with their business center and meeting facilities. They provided all the necessary amenities and resources for a successful work session. The staff was helpful and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable and productive environment.
While the hotel provided excellent business facilities, I would have appreciated having access to high-speed internet for uninterrupted work connectivity.

Our stay at Kalappura Houseboats & Tours was absolutely incredible. The boat itself was spacious and comfortable, providing us with a cozy room and a relaxing living area. The captain and chef on board were exceptional, making our trip even more special. We had the opportunity to enjoy delicious traditional Kerala cuisine and even went for a swim with the chef. The boat navigated through stunning narrow waters, allowing us to experience the beauty of the backwaters away from the crowds. The communication with Jose, the host, was seamless, and he even accommodated my allergies with care. I highly recommend Kalappura Houseboats & Tours for an unforgettable experience.

I recently stayed at Kalappura Houseboats in Alleppey for a couple of days. The boat was impeccably clean, and we enjoyed leisurely cruising while reading our books. The entire team, including our cruise pilot Siraj and Chief Nawaz, took excellent care of us and shared insightful information about the village and local festivities. I highly recommend Kalappura Houseboats to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable experience in Alleppey.
I do recommend this hotel.

The room was amazing! The cozy bed and the flat-screen TV with cable channels made it feel like home. The private bathroom with a refreshing shower and free toiletries was a nice touch. I loved the outdoor dining area, perfect for enjoying a meal in the fresh air. As a budget traveler, I couldn't have asked for more.
The suite had soundproofing, which might not be everyone's cup of tea.
